A Black IPA has the wonderful, punchy, hop aromas of a New World IPA, with the added ‘teaser’ of complex, dark, roast malts! Malt-easer combines the smooth roasted malt flavours of Carafa Special, oats and roasted barley with vibrant citrus and pine notes of US Amarillo and Eureka hops.

We are George and Tom Jenkinson, brothers and directors of our family run brewery. Founded in 1980 by our father and mother, Richard and Lesley Jenkinson, we remain the oldest independent brewery in the Chiltern Hills and Buckinghamshire.
