Monument Gold Pale Ale 3.8% – 500ml

Monument Gold Pale Ale 3.8% – 500ml

This lighter style golden ale is crafted for refreshment. Honeyed malts provide a biscuity base that is perfectly complemented by the light citrus aroma from British Cascade hops.

Monument Gold makes a wonderful partner to chicken, salads and light fish dishes.

Monument Gold Pale Ale 3.8% – 500ml

“An exquisite golden ale for year-round drinking”

The next time you visit our quaint, family brewery, look beyond the brewhouse to the Chiltern Hills and poking through the clouds you may just see the Coombe Hill Monument. The Monument dates back to 1904 and commemorates the 148 men from Buckinghamshire who died during The Second Boer War.

In 2010, The Monument was in desperate need of restoration work and to help raise funds, we brewed a limited edition ale… Monument Gold. We were blown away by the support and popularity of this new brew, so quickly made the decision to add this smooth, golden ale to our permanent line-up.

Monument Gold now acts as a fitting tribute to The Coombe Hill Monument and reinforces the long-standing ties we have with our local area.

What People Say

Great barbecue beer, I keep mine chilled in the cool box and it goes really with meat and fish straight off the griddle. Smooth and delicious. Well done Chiltern Brewery!
