Here at The Chiltern Brewery we have always taken your privacy and data protection seriously. That means no tricky questions that force you to sign up to our emails and no selling your data to third parties. We welcome the new GDPR changes and invite you to review our Privacy Policy below.

 

Why we collect your data

We collect your data when you place an order with us (this could be online or in the brewery shop) or sign up to our marketing messages. When placing an order with us, we will keep your data for up to one year after the date of ordering so that we can provide you with the best customer service possible. If you sign up to our marketing emails, we will keep your data until you request otherwise. All of our marketing emails are on a strict ‘opt-in only’ basis, we will never sign you up without your consent. You can request that we erase your data at anytime. Your data is stored securely whether online or offline.

What data we collect from you

When processing an order we will take your contact details (Name, Address, Telephone number, Email address) so that we can keep you updated with the status of your order, confirm delivery dates etc. We only hold credit/debit card details with your permission and whilst a payment is pending.

Third parties

We will never sell your details to third parties. Sometimes we may need to pass on your details to complete orders, but we will always seek your permission first.
